Salary cap in the NBA is the limit to the overall amount of money that they give the player. it is informed by the leagues collective bargaining agreement. the limit amount is subject to complex system of rules and exception an as such is considered a soft cap. The amount that they provide will be on a year to year basis. also it is calculated as a percentage of the league revenue from previous season. like every other sports , the NBA has a salary cap to control cost.
